Accountant / Senior Accountant, Treasury

About the Job

We are seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Accountant to join our finance team. As a Treasury Accountant, you will be responsible for managing company funds, ensuring accurate cash flow management, monitoring banking activities to optimize our organization's liquidity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all transactions on cash tills and system with high accuracy and efficiency
• In charge of opening and closing of cash tills
• Manage the processing and filing of all documentation relating to responsibilities
• Communicate all cash related control issues with manager and related parties
• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Verify invoices and resolve discrepancies before sending to approvers for approval
• Check and process priority payments or cheques payments on request
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Arrange and prepare refund upon requests
• Reconcile vendor statements, research on and respond to vendors or external parties and business users’ inquiries and follow up unsettled items
• Assist on month-end closing
• Assist on bank account management, such as maintain bank master, prepare bank document for any changes, and monitor bank balance
• Communicate with bank regarding operating issues
• Involve in system implementation (e.g. SAP S4 HANA, concur, various ebanking solution)
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Accounting and Finance related disciplines
• 3 - 5 years accounting work experience
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office software
• Familiar with payment solutions (e.g. concur, ebanking solution)
• Good spoken and written English and Cantonese, knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Independent, responsible, detail-minded, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Accountant
• Immediate available is preferred
