Assistant Manager, Corporate Communications

About the Job
We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in corporate communications, of which 2-4 years in an assistant manager position, preferably in a publicly listed company within the retail or FMCG sector. The successful candidate will focus on the day-to-day operations of the team, produce corporate collaterals for external communications, coordinate event management, engage with media to project a positive image of the Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group, and maintain quality corporate contents in both English and Chinese.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive corporate communication strategies to enhance the company's brand image and reputation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and implement external communication efforts to ensure alignment with company objectives and values.
- Plan and coordinate corporate events, such as press conferences, annual general meetings and media events.
- Coordinate and arrange publicity for retail-focused events, such as product launches, store openings, and promotional campaigns.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with key media contacts, journalists, and industry influencers to secure positive media coverage.
- Monitor media channels and industry trends to provide insights and recommendations for effective communication strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
- Produce high-quality written content in English and Chinese for press releases, articles, social media posts, and other communication materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in corporate communications, of which 2-4 years in an assistant manager position with experience gained from a listed company.
- Experience in retail or FMCG industry is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of retail industry dynamics and trends is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in event management and media relations.
- Familiarity with digital communication tools, social media platforms, and marketing strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in written English and Chinese is essential.
