About the Job
Assistant Manager, Risk Management is instrumental in the effective execution of the Group’s enterprise risk management and internal controls system. Key responsibilities include collaborating with business units to implement risk mitigation workplans, conducting reviews of internal controls and process optimization, developing essential Group policies (such as anti-money laundering policies) and training materials, and coordinating crisis simulations for the business markets in which the Group operates.
This role will be based in Hong Kong and required to work closely with stakeholders at the Group and business market levels.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise risk management:
- 
Oversee the continuous monitoring of enterprise risks and collaborate with relevant business units to implement risk mitigation workplans.
 - 
Conduct reviews of internal controls and process optimization to assess the effectiveness of current controls and identify opportunities for improvement.
 - 
Create training and communication materials to facilitate effective change management.
 
Anti-money laundering compliance:
- 
Develop and conduct regular reviews of anti-money laundering policies and training materials for the Group and its business markets.
 - 
Analyze transactions and prepare regulatory reports in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
 
Crisis management:
- 
Develop and conduct regular reviews of crisis management and business continuity documentation.
 - 
Organize simulations for major crisis scenarios involving the Group and its business markets.
 
Requirements
- 
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or relevant discipline
 - 
Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit, process improvements and/or project management. Experience in retail or FMCG industry would be advantageous.
 - 
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across all levels.
 - 
Strong analytical abilities and conflict resolution skills.
 - 
Comprehensive understanding of business processes.
 - 
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
 - 
A strong willingness to learn and collaborate as a team player.
 - 
Demonstrates a high level of commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
 - 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Chinese .
 - 
Fluency in Mandarin would be advantageous.
