About the Job
The Assistant Manager, Visual Merchandising will play a key role in enhancing brand image, driving sales, and creating immersive shopping experience for customers across international markets and multiple channels. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing and sales operations, as well as Group Branding team and external vendors, to ensure that visual presentations align with the company’s aesthetic standards and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Execution and Standard:
- Support commercial performance by optimizing product visibility and driving traffic and conversion through strategic VM execution
- Conduct store audits to uphold brand standard, and provide VM feedback with action plans to improve execution and consistency
- Rollout of seasonal campaigns, window installations, and in-store promotions
- Perform evaluations to assess the effectiveness of visual merchandising, identifying successful elements and areas for improvement
Collaboration and Training:
- Train and support sales staff on visual merchandising
- Lead and maintain VM calendar aligned with key launches and seasonal campaigns, in coordination with merchandising, marketing, commercial team and Group Branding
New Stores and Renovations:
- Planning new store layout
- Manage vendors for the fixture ordering and delivery of visual props, materials, and packaging; coordinate logistics and support payment processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 4-6 years of experience in visual merchandising; experience in luxury retail, jewellery industry preferred
- Familiar with Mainland China, and SEA market is a plus
- Eye for styling and attention to deliver high quality and error-free deliverables
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Able to work under pressure and tight schedule
- Strong project management and problem-solving abilities
- Willing to work flexibly based on the changing priorities
- Great team player and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to travel
- Fluency in both written and spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin
