About the Job
The Assistant PR & Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans for international markets that align with our business objectives and enhance our luxury brand presence. This role requires a good understanding of the luxury retail in regional landscape and the ability to manage multiple marketing campaigns across various channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing PR and marketing communication strategies to drive brand awareness, media coverage, and commercial impact.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels and social platforms, strengthening brand equity in international markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers and stakeholders; support content creation for product launches and key campaigns.
- Proactively secure media exposure through features, interviews, and product placement across relevant channels.
- Plan and manage regional campaigns and events, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and maximizing returns based on predefined objectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, PR agencies and external partners to ensure cohesive and effective implementation of the group communication strategy at local level.
- Assist in managing the respective campaign budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Monitor campaign performance and key metrics, prepare monthly clipping and event reports, to optimise strategies and evaluate for constant improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of PR, communications and social media experience, preferably in luxury retail with regional exposure.
- Proven track record in digital and social marketing; agency background a plus.
- Strong understanding of Asia and international media landscape; with established media and influencers network preferred.
- Analytical with strong Excel skills; able to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationship at all levels.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent Putonghua is a must.
