Assistant Product Manager (High Jewellery)

About the Job
- Responsible for sourcing and managing raw materials and gemstone requests and liaising with the procurement team on stone procurement and logistics arrangements.
- Collaborate with the designer and workshop to ensure timely completion of product manufacturing, from order placement to final delivery.
- Conduct daily product operations to ensure the smoothness of manufacturing process. Carry out data-input, generate regular reports, follow-up and communicate with design team, workshop, and China team. Execute workshop invoice settlement and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Diamond and gems sorting by cuts, size, shape and quality.
- Purchase parts and materials for jewelry production.
- Coordinate and monitor the workflow of production, QC, inventory, launching of new products, customer orders, and repair items - will work very closely with Project Management and Product Planning team.
- Communicate and negotiate with factories and overseas suppliers.
- Review the regular month-end reports and assist in product replenishment and inventory control and handle the shipment (collaborate with Product Planning team).
- Other duties as assigned by the Superior.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree Holder.
- 5 years of relevant working experience in the jewellery industries.
- Experienced in order placement, follow-up, product management and project management.
- Strong knowledge in gemstones.
- Self-starter and proactive, competent in working independently and collaboratively as a team player.
- Well organized, responsible, reliable, and highly capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.
- Proficient in MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Fluent in written & spoken English & Chinese.
