About the Job
The Associate Director, Investor Relations will play a key role in shaping and executing the Group's investor relations strategy. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to senior management, driving transparent communication with the investment community while providing market intelligence and investor feedback to support strategic decision-making.
The role requires a strong blend of financial acumen, capital markets experience, strategic thinking, communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Relations Strategy
- Support the development and execution of the Group's investor relations strategy.
- Strengthen and continuously refine the Company's investment proposition and equity narratives.
- Enhance market understanding of the Group's strategic priorities, growth drivers, financial performance and long-term value creation framework.
- Support senior management in investor engagement planning and capital markets positioning.
Results Communications & Disclosure
- Lead preparation of interim and annual results materials, including: Investor presentations and collaterals, earnings scripts, Q&A documents and Investor website content.
- Coordinate earnings announcements, analyst briefings and investor presentations.
- Ensure all communications are accurate, consistent and compliant with HKEX listing requirements and corporate governance standards.
- Partner closely with senior management and different business units disclosure matters.
Investor & Analyst Engagement
- Manage relationships with Institutional investors, sell-side analysis, rating agencies and ESG analysts etc.
- Organize and participate in results roadshows, non-deal roadshows, investor conferences, site visits and one-on-one meetings
- Respond to investor enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain an active investor targeting programme and plan/execute capital market day/other appropriate investor engagement to broaden the shareholder base.
Market Intelligence & Capital Markets Analysis
- Monitor shareholder register developments, trading activity, analyst estimates, consensus forecasts, competitive landscape
- Analyse investor perceptions, market expectations and valuation drivers.
ESG & Corporate Governance Communications
- Advise communications relating to sustainability strategy, ESG disclosures, corporate governance developments, responsible sourcing initiatives
- Assist in engaging with ESG rating agencies and sustainability-focused investors.
- Assist in preparation of sustainability-related investor materials and responses.
Leadership & Team Contribution
- Serve as deputy to the VP of Investor Relations & Corporate Communications.
- Mentor junior IR team members and contribute to capability building.
- Lead selected investor-facing projects independently.
- Represent the Company in meetings with investors and analysts where appropriate.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines.
- MBA, CFA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- 12–15+ years of relevant experience with proven investor-facing leadership experience in sizeable listed corporates or sell-side brokerage.
- Strong understanding of equity capital markets, financial modelling, valuation methodologies and HKEX Rules and Listing Requirements.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
- Fluent in English, Proficiency in Mandarin/Cantonese.
- Frequent business travel.
- Candidates with less relevant experience could be considered as Senior Manager.
