About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Merchandising Manager to join our International team. This role involves shaping product merchandising strategies, optimizing inventory management, and driving sales growth for our international markets via various channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Merchandising & Product Assortment Planning: Develop and execute strategic merchandising plans and product assortments that align with company goals and markets preferences.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and turnover rates, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory.
- Sales Analysis: Conduct regular sales analysis to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Use data-driven insights to inform merchandising strategies and decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Group retail merchandising, merchandising management, sales and marketing, to ensure the successful implementation of merchandising plan and promotional activities.
- Market trends & customer insights: Analyze market trends and customer insights to optimize product selection. Stay informed of industry trends and competitive landscape to ensure the company remains a leader in retail merchandising practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in merchandising and product assortment planning within the retail industry.
- Exposure to the APAC markets in multinational companies and experienced in handle various channels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Results-driven with a willingness to take ownership and execute tasks.
- Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent in written and spoken English and Chinese (include Mandarin).
