As a Data Manager, you will be the strategic partner to business leaders, transforming complex data into a competitive advantage. You will own the vision for our analytics capabilities, leading the development of insights that directly shape business strategy and drive growth. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership
• Partner with key stakeholders to define and own the data analytics roadmap, ensuring solutions are strategically aligned with business objectives.
• Proactively identify opportunities where data can drive efficiency, improve performance, and uncover new insights to support decision-making. - End-to-End Solution Delivery & Execution
• Lead the full lifecycle of data product development—from requirements gathering and design to development, validation, and deployment of dashboards and reports.
• Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support sustainable data project deployments.
• Manage relationships and collaborate with external vendors and consultants to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of data solutions. - Team Development & Mentorship
• Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior team members to elevate the team's technical skills and business acumen, fostering achievement of common objectives.
• Champion data literacy across the organization by providing training and ongoing support to business users on self-service visualization and reporting tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven track record (6+ years) in leading data analytics projects, with at least 2 years in a role involving direct stakeholder management or team guidance.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data querying and transformation.
- Expert-level experience in developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
- Solid hands-on development experience with cloud data integration and pipeline tools such as Alibaba DataWorks, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks.
- Experience in Python or R for data analysis is a strong advantage.
- Prior experience in supply chain management or the retail/luxury (e.g., jewelry) sector is highly desirable.
