Manager, Procurement

About the Job

Lead procurement excellence initiatives and manage strategic sourcing activities across the Group. This role is responsible for driving procurement systems, process optimization, governance, and continuous improvement, while simultaneously managing selected indirect procurement categories to deliver business value, cost efficiency, and supplier performance improvements.

The position requires strong stakeholder management, project leadership, and sourcing expertise to support procurement transformation and commercial objectives across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Systems & Digital Transformation

• Lead the rollout, enhancement, and adoption of SAP Ariba and related procurement technologies across multiple markets.
• Partner with business users and IT teams to identify and implement system improvements.
• Drive user training, change management, and process adoption to maximize system effectiveness.
• Support procurement digitalization initiatives and automation opportunities.

Procurement Process & Governance

• Review and optimize procurement processes to improve efficiency, compliance, and user experience.
• Support the implementation of procurement policies, procedures, and governance standards and ensure process compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement operations.

Indirect Services Procurement

• Support procurement activities for selected indirect service categories, including IT, marketing, branding, corporate services, and professional services.
• Lead end-to-end procurement activities including demand analysis, market assessment, RFx management, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver value.
• Monitor supplier performance and support supplier relationship management activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
• Support regional initiatives with frequent travel across Mainland China and overseas markets.

Requirements

• Degree holder with a minimum 8–10 years of procurement experience, preferably covering both indirect sourcing and procurement operations/process improvement.
• Experience in SAP Ariba implementation, enhancement, or procurement technology platforms and strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay Processes.
• Proven track record in strategic procurement and category management within indirect procurement categories.
• Solid track record in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management across multiple regions.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement, procurement transformation, and change management.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese).
