About the Job

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our Store Design & Project Management team as a Project Manager. This role is integral in driving the store project management in all our development, expansion, and renovation projects across Hong Kong, Macau and Overseas (HKMO), ensuring alignment with the Group’s growth objectives and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute HKMO store development strategy and develop comprehensive project plans for store openings and renovations in alignment with Group’s business objectives.
  • Deliver and report on overall project preparation and execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and market constraints as well as aligning with brand standards. Able to flag risks to timelines or budgets and provide alternatives accordingly.
  • Ensure that all projects and refurbishment activities are carried out in compliance with relevant statutory requirements and regulations.
  • Develop, provide forecast and track all project budgets, ensuring adherence during project life cycle.
  • Execute and monitor the tendering process, ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance with procurement policies.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to obtain competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Partner with Procurement function to create framework to drive cost, speed and consistency.
  • Improve project management, communication plans and processes, including leading individual project planning meetings across various stakeholders. 
  • Evaluate project performance upon store openings, to review and optimise timelines, quality and spend. 
  • Develop new vendors and lead prototyping activities as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Architecture, Design, Project or Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years’ project management experience in overseeing store fit out for openings, renovation & maintenance projects, preferably in Retail industry.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage resources efficiently.
  • Well-organized with strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage external vendors and drive performance. Understanding and experience of supplier contract management and production methods & timelines. 
  • Commercial and financial acumen to understand capex finance functions. 
  • Knowledge in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD preferred.
  • Good command of Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
  • Willingness to travel overseas if required.
