About the Job
Reporting to Director, Risk Management, this role will support the effective implementation of the Group’s enterprise risk management framework, including risk identification, risk assessment, crisis preparedness and regulatory compliance, with a specific focus on anti-money laundering. This role will be based in Hong Kong and required to work closely with stakeholders at the Group and business market levels. S/he shall support the line manager on risk management and AML compliance activities including but not limited to risk registration, policy review and preparation of training and simulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess and evaluate key strategic risks that may impact the Group's objectives, such as market development, reputation & image, supply chain management, financial and store operations.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk register to monitor the risks identified and status of mitigation measures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies, procedures and controls.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive crisis management and business continuity documentation, covering major crisis scenarios, escalation procedures and response strategies.
- Create a positive risk culture by preparing and administering training, and conducting crisis simulations for the Group and business units.
- Support Director, Risk Management on the implementation of anti-money laundering compliance program at the Group and business market levels, including policy review, transaction analysis and staff training.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and other factors that may impact the risk profile of the Group.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or relevant discipline
- A minimum of 5 years in risk management and/or audit disciplines, with preference for candidates who have experience at a Big 4 firm.
- Experience in the retail industry is a plus, though not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across all levels.
- Strong analytical abilities and conflict resolution skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of business processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Chinese .Fluency in Mandarin would be advantageous.
