Manager, Total Rewards

About the Job

Reporting to Director, Total Rewards, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and management of group compensation and benefits programs across the organization. You will provide expertise on a wide range of total rewards topics to support the attraction, motivation, and retention of our talented workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic compensation & benefits initiatives such implementation and ongoing evaluation of the organization's compensation and benefits programs, including base pay, incentive pay, health and welfare benefits, and retirement benefits.
  • Partner with the others People & Culture functions to advise on compensation & benefits related matters including pay benchmarking approach, job evaluation, individual compensation package advisory etc. and ensure proper governance is in place.
  • Keep abreast of the latest Hong Kong and Asia compensation, benefits and wellness trends. Provide timely advice and updates to the business and team on market intelligence to drive effective people decisions.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and market trend analyses to ensure our total rewards programs are competitive and sustainable.
  • Support the annual salary and bonus review process, including developing and communicating the process, providing guidance to managers, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that the company's total rewards programs comply with all legal requirements.
  • Manage communication strategies to enhance business’s and employees' understanding and perceived value of total rewards.
  • Manage vendors and consultants to ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective services
  • Partner closely with Finance and others People & Culture functions to oversee the people budget at Group level.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in related field with an advanced degree or certification is a plus.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in HR with a focus on compensation and benefits.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits strategies, design principles, and legal implications.
  • Practice a high level of integrity and honesty in maintaining confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner with all levels of the organization.
  • Work efficiently under pressure and follow tight deadlines, with minimal supervision.
  • Good command in both verbal and written Chinese and English.
  • Less Experience can be considered as Assistant Manager.
