Product Planning Manager

About the Job
Manage and execute planning-related issues of all jewellery products to support the deployment of product strategies in line with Group's financial objectives and brand positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in formulating holistic product development and product management strategies.
- Devise new product creation plan according to business objectives.
- Take lead in market research to understand market situation, customer need, consumer behavior as well as understanding the competition to identify new & innovative concepts for development of new products.
- Drive product launch from business case, internal process, execution to post-launch analysis.
- Perform product demand forecast planning, OTB planning, product life cycle management.
- Define, monitor, and achieve product key performance indicators on portfolio specifics to support Group's goals.
- Enhance management planning on product portfolio and assortment offering.
- Support the product master maintenance, SKU creation and maintenance.
- Compile presentation content on new products concepts and styles assortments.
- Communicate with all relevant internal and external parties to ensure all product projects are coordinated effectively.
- Prepare sales & inventory data analytics and provide insight of improvement to senior management.
- Set up, enhance and monitor product-related process flow standard operations procedures.
- Support any ad-hoc product-related projects.
Requirements
- University Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in retail industry, preferably jewellery and watches.
- China/ APAC exposure preferred.
- Solid experience in product planning/development, product management, and OTB planning.
- Sharp business and market sense in retail field.
- Multi-tasking with strong organizational and analytical background.
- Familiar with product portfolio and experience in setting up business process.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong creativity, attention to detail, team player, highly organized and self-motivated.
- Excellent data analysis and problem solving skills.
- Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English. Fluent in Mandarin.
