About the Job
The Product Manager will be responsible for developing and executing Group Product strategies that align with our business objectives and enhance our brand presence in the markets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Market Analysis
• Conduct Market & Trend Research: Analyze competitor offerings, consumer trends, sales data, and cultural shifts to identify opportunities.
• Define the Product Mix: Plan the balance of categories (rings, necklaces, earrings), price points and materials to optimize sales and margin.
• Create the Line Plan: Create product architecture by collection, category, price point, channel and store cluster.
• Determine the number of SKUs, launch timelines, and lifecycle plans for each product.
Product Development & Creative Direction
• Brief Designers & External Partners: Translate market strategy into clear creative briefs for designers. This includes target customer, price point, aesthetic, and technical requirements.
• Manage the Development Cycle: Oversee the entire process from initial sketch/concept to 3D model, prototype, and final sample. Act as the key liaison between design and other departments.
• Ensure Brand Cohesion: Guarantee all new products align with the brand's DNA, quality standards, and heritage.
Commercial & Financial Management
• Conduct Pricing Analysis: Analyze competitor pricing and perceived value to justify price positioning.
• Forecast Sales and Inventory Levels: Collaborate with the retail planning & retail merchandising teams to project initial quantities and plan for replenishment of core items.
Production & Supply Chain Coordination
• Technical Specs & Packaging: Oversee the creation of detailed tech packs for manufacturing and brief packaging development (boxes, pouches).
• Timeline Management: Create and manage the critical path from design sign-off to production delivery, ensuring on-time launches.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Go-to-Market
• Present Collections Internally: Introduce new collections to marketing and retail teams, providing the key product narrative and selling points.
• Support Marketing & Visual Merchandising: Provide product information and assets for campaigns, websites, catalogs, and in-store displays.
• Analyze Performance: Post-launch, analyze sales data, best/worst sellers, and customer feedback to inform future planning and potential line adjustments.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Merchandising or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in the jewellery, or accessories industry.(Luxury background is a plus)
• Familiar with Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and SEA market is a plus.
• Direct experience in bringing jewellery collections from concept to market is essential.
• Proficiency in creating and managing line plans, budgets, and sales forecasts.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market reports.
• Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software and Power BI is preferred.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple complex timelines under pressure.
• Ability to troubleshoot development, production, or costing issues proactively.
• Fluent in both Chinese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
