Retail Training Manager/ Senior Manager

About the Job
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Manager, Retail Training to join our Group Retail Excellence team. He/she will play a key role in advancing our retail excellence objectives by driving training and development initiatives for the frontline team across markets. This role focuses on enhancing retail service, operations, clienteling, and coaching standards, while also supporting other areas as needed. He/she will collaborate closely with market trainers through a train-the-trainer ensuring effective knowledge transfer and consistent service excellence across regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Stay informed about high-end retail standards, market trends, and competitor practices to execute key training programs remain relevant and competitive.
- Design and deliver core training programs, including orientation, service standards, coaching, selling skills, and clienteling, to elevate frontline performance and ensure brand consistency.
- Partner with market training teams to gather feedback, assess training effectiveness, and implement follow-up actions to drive continuous improvement.
- Identify market-specific training needs and provide tailored solutions based on available resources and business priorities.
- Collaborate closely with team members to support MSP (Mystery Shopper Program) initiatives and ensure timely follow-up actions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments on new projects and initiatives to embed training support where needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a retail training role, preferably within the luxury sector or MNC.
- Proven track record in in developing training material/ course from idea/concept.
- Strong understanding of customer service excellence, retail operations, and coaching methodologies.
- Ability to inspire the team and foster a culture of excellence.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva.
- Excellent communication skills and a role model on the area where he/she is responsible for.
- Good in written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Candidates with more experience will be considered for the position of Senior Manager.
