Senior Human Resources Officer (HRBP)

About the Job

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Officer/Senior Officer – HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our back-office functions. This role is critical in aligning HR strategies with the goals of Business Units at the corporate level. The ideal candidate will bring strong HR fundamentals, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills. The position holder focuses on execution and support, as well as emphasises strategic influence and cross-functional collaboration.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to department heads and teams in back-office departments.
  • Understand department-specific business needs and provide tailored HR solutions aligned with company strategy.
  • Support workforce planning, job design, and organisational structure reviews in collaboration with business and Senior Manager, HRBP.
  • Facilitate the smooth onboarding and offboarding of employees in corporate functions.
  • Support performance management cycles including goal-setting, mid-year and annual reviews, and talent calibration.
  • Assist with identification of high-potential talent and succession planning for critical roles in corporate functions.
  • Collaborate with L&D to identify skill gaps and implement targeted training initiatives.
  • Ensure HR compliance in all activities, maintaining documentation and audit readiness as per public company standards.
  • Analyse workforce data and generate reports to support decision-making by HR and business leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a corporate or retail back-office setting.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, labor laws, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders.
  • Proactive with positive and flexible mindset, and able to meet deadline.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office, HRMS/HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday).
  • Professional maturity and discretion in handling sensitive HR matters.
  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
  • Less experience candidates will be considered as Officer.
