Senior Manager, Financial Systems

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Financial Systems to lead our Group’s financial system related initiatives, including but not limited to the SAP financial solution S/4HANA.  

This role serves as the primary liaison among Finance, IT, and the solution consultants. He/She is responsible for overseeing the project timeline, implementation, maintenance and optimization of SAP financial solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, compliance requirements, and best practices in financial accounting and controlling.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall implementation for the SAP financial solution S/4HANA and other financial system initiatives when and as needed.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders from Finance, business process owners, IT and the solution consultants on system implementation, configurations, customisations and integrations with other modules or systems.
• Ensure system compliance with financial regulations, SOX controls, audit requirements, and best practices in financial reporting and closing processes.
• Support the financial close processes, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning through SAP tools.
• Collaborate with finance leadership and business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and translate business needs into SAP configurations.
• Manage projects from blueprinting and design through testing, go-live, and hypercare support; monitor timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and user support for SAP financial processes.
• Support data cleansing during SIT, UAT, cutover planning and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in SAP Financials and finance/ technology project management.
• Proven track record of leading SAP implementations or major upgrades, preferably including S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
• Certifications in SAP S/4HANA Finance highly desirable; PMP or similar project management certification a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in managing cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Occasionally travel to China is required
