Senior Manager, Strategic Planning

About the Job

As an essential member of the Group-level Transformation Office, this role is to drive strategic and transformation projects to uplift business and operational performance through offering robust analysis and recommendations. You will use your experience and expertise in managing strategic projects and stakeholder engagement to support executive committees to achieve strategic goals and business results.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine group strategies, goals, and roadmaps to drive growth and competitive advantage.
• Develop and define key strategic priorities; monitor and track strategic priorities implementation to ensure alignment with group direction.
• Initiative and drive key strategic projects.
• Define KPIs to evaluate performance and offer recommendations on improvement as necessary.
• Prepare executive presentations for board and executive committee meetings.

Requirements

• Degree holder or above in any discipline.
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in corporate or strategic planning; ideally with management consultancy experience; exposure to the retail industry is a plus.
• Open-minded; demonstrated an analytical mindset with structural thinking and the ability to synthesize complex information and develop insights.
• Confident in challenging the status quo by providing alternative ideas that challenge existing procedures, which could help to develop new solutions and bring in improvements to the company.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects, including the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as a Manager.
