Senior Officer, Total Rewards

About the Job

We are looking for a detail-oriented HR professional to join our Total Rewards team. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in human resources within the retail industry, with an emphasis on payroll management. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with regulations, and supporting overall HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

•    Manage the payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
•    Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations and reporting requirements. 
•    Collaborate with the P&C team members to maintain employee records and ensure data integrity. 
•    Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and metrics for management review. 
•    Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify and correct discrepancies. 
•    Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices in the retail sector.
•    Liaise with local authorities and service providers in relation to pension, social insurance, tax and other statutory matters.
•    Knowledge and hands-on experience with payroll & benefits in other Asia countries is an advantage
•    Handle various HR projects and perform ad hoc assignments as needed.

Requirements

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
•    Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, specifically in payroll management within the retail industry. 
•    Good knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements. 
•    Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. 
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
•    Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
•    Proficiency in SAP software and Microsoft Office Suite. 
•    Strong Excel skills. 
•    Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
