Senior System Engineer, System Management

About the Job

This role is mainly focusing on monitoring and maintaining servers and services of IT Data Centre.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the servers of IT Data Centre by performing regular tasks such as creating, updating and deleting AD users, M365 accounts and other internal system accounts
• Perform health monitoring of the server hardware
• Troubleshoot the program issues in server hardware and software
• Install and fine-tuned server and software based on the compliance requirements
• Handle regular windows and other OS patch, firmware, software upgrades
• Deploy internal and external systems to UAT and production sites
• Perform regular backup and restore tasks
• Coordinate projects and communicate with internal teams and external vendors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related discipline
• Has relevant 3 years hands-on experience in Windows server farm, VM environment, Patch Management, Powershell Scripting, SAN/HCI storage, backup and restore solution
• Solid knowledge in cloud computing configuration, security, storage and backup (Aliyun, AWS, Azure)
• Excellent in problem solving skill with the ability to identify problem, brainstorm solutions, analyse answers and implement the best solution
• Good team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Less experience will be considered as System Engineer
• Good communication skills of written and verbal in Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and English
