About the Job
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Administration
- Support end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, confirmation, and employee lifecycle processes
- Ensure compliance with Malaysia labour laws and internal HR policies
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Support recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer management
- Partner with hiring managers to fulfill manpower requirements in a timely manner
- Assist in employer branding and local hiring initiatives
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and HR-related matters
- Support employee engagement initiatives and activities across Malaysia
Performance & Talent Management
- Support performance management cycles including goal setting, mid-year and annual reviews
- Assist in talent development and succession planning initiatives
HR Projects & Regional Collaboration
- Support regional HR initiatives and projects across SEA
- Collaborate with cross-country HR teams to ensure alignment and sharing of best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–4 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in retail or multi-site environments
- Good knowledge of Malaysia labour laws and HR practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with regional stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
